Africa Soccer Mosimane hails Walter Bwalya, ‘sure he’ll find the formula’ against Bayern

Walter Bwalya

Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane praised his striker Walter Bwalya and expects he can find the back of the net soon, a day prior to their clash to Bayern Munich.

Bwalya scored a goal against Al-Duhail in the quarter final of the FIFA Club World Cup but it was denied by the referee.

And Pitso said he can not judge the decision of the VAR as they see things better.

However, he said he is sure that the Congolese striker will score soon ahead of their game against Bayern Munich on Monday, February 8.

“He came close to scoring his first goal for us today,” said Pitso Mosimane.

“In fact, I thought he had scored, only for technology to decide otherwise. They have a better view of it than we have, so we can’t argue with that

“He was strong in attack, and we only replaced him in the second half because of the stress and physical toll that these kinds of games exert on players

“He’s a good striker and his job is to score goals, so I’m sure he’ll find the formula again soon,” the South African tactician added.
