CAF CONFEDERATION CUP WCQ: CAF Approves Seven Stadia As Super Eagles Home Ground

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved Seven stadia that will serve as home ground for the Super Eagles 2020 FIFA World Cup qualifier next month.

The seven stadia approved are National Stadium (Abuja), Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium (Enugu), Adoke Amaisimaka stadium (Port-Harcourt), Akwa Ibom international stadium (Uyo), Stephen Keshi stadium (Asaba) Samuel Ogbemudia stadium (Benin) and Teslim Balogun Stadium (Lagos).

CAF also released the list of other stadia that will stage the World Cup qualifier matches in 68 venues across 38 countries in the continent.

On the other hand, 22 countries, failed to obtained the approval of the committee .

They are: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central Africa, Chad, Eritrea, Gambia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Niger, Sao Tome and Senegal. And Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Aswatini and Zanzibar.
