CAF Champions League Osho Confident Of Semi-Final Ticket Despite Huge Loss To Pyramids

Enyimba head coach Fatai Osho said it is not yet uhuru for the team after losing 4-1 to Pyramids of Egypt on Sunday in Cairo in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Peoples Elephants despite taking the lead just one minute of play, lost concentration as they conceded four goals.

The result leave them in a daisy situation that demand them to score three unreplied goals in the second leg in Aba.

But Osho is full of confident that his players can turn the tide and shock their opponent.

Speaking after the 4-1 loss, Osho said he will have to let his players know that all hope is not lost.

He said,“We have to let them (the players) know that it’s not over yet. 

“We have to play and score and not concede; if we can do that we have a hope.

 “A situation where we can score one or two goals, that brings hope and we have to work on their pysche.

“We had our game plan and going into the game they stuck to it. 

“We saw a lot of promises in the first half…

 “The second half we lost it when we started noticing a lot of tiredness.

“They started playing out of shape and exposed exposed themselves a lot.”

Reacting on the game, Osho admitted that his players show signs of fatigue and played out of shape.

“We had our game plan and going into the game they stuck to it. 

“We saw a lot of promises in the first half.
