Africa Soccer Yusuf Basigi : Hasaacas Ladies coach reveal their main goal in inaugural CAF WCL

Yusuf Basigi appeared to be very confident while talking about Hasaacas Ladies objective in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League which takes place from 15 to 30 July in Ivory Coast.

The Sekondi-based club have just won the Ghana Women’s Premier League as well as the FA Cup and seemed now to have turned all their focus on the first ever Women’s Champions League in the continent.

And Basigi revealed that their main goal is to qualifiy for the main tournament which will come later this year in Egypt.

“Our objective is to qualify for the main tournament in Egypt meaning that we are going to qualify. Ghanaian football is of the best quality but it does not mean that Nigeria is underestimated,” Yusuf Basigi told CAF’s website.

Hasaacas Ladies are groupe with Nigerian heavyweights River Angels and Niger’s Association Sportive de la Police.

The winner of the WAFU B Zone tournament and the runners-up will qualify for the mai n event.
