FIFA U20 WORLD CUP Guinea, Guinea-Bissau Share Spoils In Dead Horse Group I

Guinea and Guinea Bissau settled for a draw in Group I of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier played on Friday.

Both teams played for pride in matchday five of the qualifier as Morocco had already picked the sole group ticket.

The home side Guinea had countless chances to score as they sought their first win of the group phase.

However, their effort could not produce any goals as they were blunt in front of goal.

Sory Kaba thought he had scored for the Guineans in the 61st minute, but his goal was ruled out for offside.

Guinea has now registered four successive draws in the qualifier.

With the result, Guinea Bissau remain second with five points seven points behind already qualified Morocco.
