Egypt Mohamed Meselhy Reelected Ittihad Of Alexandria President By Acclamation

The board of Ittihad of Alexandria needed to unanimously vote for Egyptian businessman, Mohamed Meselhy to keep him at the helm of the club as no other candidates ran in the elections.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Abdelmeguid has been named vice-president. It was also by acclamation, after his only rival, Sherif El-Helw, dropped out of the elections.

Seven other board members were also voted, all of whom are men. These include Mohamed El-Beheiry, Mahmoud El-Kady, Ibrahim Shaaban, Mohamed Ahmed, Hazem El-Regal, Mohamed Khamis and Ismail Mohamed.

Meselhy and his board will remain at the helm of the club for another four years, meaning their tenure will end in 2025.
