Chelsea Three Sets To Renew Sponsorship Deal With Chelsea

As the UK government imposed sanctions on Blues owner Roman Abramovich as a result of his connections to Russian President Vladimir Putin in the wake of the invasion of Ukraine, three severed relations with the club in March.

The business requested that Chelsea remove its emblem from the team’s uniforms and the stadium, but it is now ready to restore sponsorship.

Todd Boehly, a co-owner of the LA Dodgers, oversaw Chelsea’s £4.25 billion acquisition in May.

Chelsea wore the Three emblems on their shirts notwithstanding Three’s request until the end of the season because Nike, the shirt maker, was unable to provide the team with fresh, unsponsored clothing as a result of the penalties.

Ineffective alternatives included covering the emblem with tape or spray paint.

Since 2020, Three has sponsored Chelsea.
