Golden Eaglets Players Dominates WAFU B U17 Team Of The Tournament

In the just finished 2022 WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament in Ghana, five Golden Eaglets players were named to the Best Eleven team.

The competition’s Best Eleven were posted on the WAFU Twitter account.

The Eaglets defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final match, with Odoh being awarded the game’s best player.

Nduka Ugbade, the Eaglets’ manager, was voted Coach of the Tournament after guiding his team to victories in each of their four contests.

Prior to finishing the group stage with a 3-1 victory against Togo, the team overcame the hosts Ghana 4-2 in their opening match.

They overcame a goal deficit to defeat Côte d’Ivoire 3-1 in the semifinals before defeating Burkina Faso 2-1 in the championship match.
