With Mostafa Mohamed having played his first game at Nantes, the club’s manager Antoine Kombouare says the Egyptian only needs time to adapt to new life in France.

The French Ligue 1 side announced few days ago an agreement with Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray SK for the loan of the Egypt international for the coming season.

“FC Nantes and Galatasaray SK have reached an agreement for the loan with buy option of Mostafa Mohamed who for 2022/23 season”, the club announced.

So far, Mohamed made his unofficial debut with the Yellows during their 2-0 pre-season win over FC Lorient.

Speaking after the match, Nantes head coach appeared confident that the Pharaoh will get fit in his new team with time.

“Mostafa joined us a few days ago, I believe he will adapt but he just needs time,” he said.

“The technical staff is taking care of the players in training, and with time he will fit in.”

In addition, Mostafa scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions last season with Galatasaray.
