Former Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane suggests that his former side Mamelodi Sundowns have a higher level of quality players to start the new Premier Soccer League, PSL campaign contrary to what he had during his time at Chloorkop.

“I also wish that when I was there, I could have the squad they have now.” Mosimane said according to Sunday World.

“I had Ramagalela and them, now it’s paradise.

“You have to understand that there’s the African Super League. And you know the president of Sundowns when it comes to this space, there’s also the CAF Champions League, and even the local PSL league.

“Maybe they are beefing up to that level. That’s my opinion with this talent that they have and this squad.”

Having won the league for five seasons in succession, Sundowns often acquired some of the most talented players in South Africa. The PSL giants also extend their recruitment to foreign lands such as Europe and South America.
