Speaking in his post-match conference an unhappy Tuchel admitted he was part of the problem.

“There’s too much to analyse, I’m a part of it.

“We are clearly not where we need to be and where we can be.

“It’s on me, it’s on us, we need to find solutions.

“At the moment, everything is missing.

“If it seems that [our confidence shrinks after conceding] it is hard to argue against it.

“You can analyse it like this, of course.

“I need to find the solution for the next match.”

“We made some changes [at half-time], we encouraged them, we told them to play with more emotions and be tougher.

“To step up. But it’s obviously hard at the moment for us.”

“It was an under-performance from us and it was the same story as always.

“We had an OK start, we didn’t finish our half-chances, we didn’t feel it when the game was already there to put to bed in the first 15-20 minutes then we concede on the counterattack, which was far too easy.

“From there, we struggled.”
