Manchester United Ten Hag Scoops Premier League Manager Of The Month Award

For the first time, Erik ten Hag has been selected as the Barclays Manager of the Month for the month of September.

The 52-year-old is the most recent Manchester United manager to accept the award after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did so most recently in January 2019.

He is also the first Dutchman to do so since Ronald Koeman for Southampton in January 2016.

By defeating Leicester City and ruining Arsenal’s undefeated start to the season, Ten Hag turned around Manchester United’s fortunes, extending his team’s winning streak and moving them up to fifth place.
