British journalist Piers Morgan has revealed when Cristiano Ronaldo will hang his boots as the 37-year old is expected to leave Manchester United in January.

The five-time Ballon d’or winner gave a long interview yo his friend in which he said to be ‘betrayed’ by Manchester United.

Ronaldo also criticized Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag to whom he has no respect as the Dutch manager does not respect him according to him.

“Ronaldo wants to retire when he turns 40, he told me that”, Morgan said.

“He will talk about what happened in the Tottenham game and the reasons for his exit from the pitch.

“Ronaldo admitted he should not have done what he did in the Tottenham game, and he has elaborated on that. He said he apologized to his teammates, but was not sorry for Ten Hag.

“As Ronaldo said in the interview Ten Hag is very adept at saying one thing to the media, but what happens behind the scenes is completely different. Cristiano from my point of view is rightly very angry about some of the things that have happened.

“Most of all, Ronaldo wants to be respected and valued, and he doesn’t feel that under Ten Hag.”
