Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, both Super Eagles, were chosen for the Serie A Team of the Week due to their outstanding performances for Napoli and Atalanta, respectively.

On Tuesday, the football information and analytics website whoscored.com posted The Team of the Week on their Twitter account.

Lookman was one of the four Atalanta players on the list, while Osimhen was one of four Napoli players.

Lookman is on the right side of the four-man midfield in the Team of the Week’s 4-4-2 formation, and Osimhen is in the attack.

After scoring a brace and adding an assist in Napoli’s 5-1 victory over Juventus at home last Friday, Osimhen continued his outstanding form in front of goal.

He now leads the scoring chart in the Italian top division with 12 goals scored so far this campaign.

Lookman contributed an assist and two goals to Atalanta’s 8-2 victory over Salernitana on Sunday.

With nine goals, Lookman is tied for second place in the top scorers leaderboard.
