Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was the star man of the game in Leicester City emphatic 4-1 victory against Tottenham.

The Foxes continued their resurgence in the Premier League as they earned a well-deserved win at the King Power Stadium.

Bentachur gave Spurs the lead in the 14th minute, and Mendy then tied the score before Maddison put the Foxes in front two minutes later.

Prior to the introduction of his fellow countryman Wilfred Ndidi in the 69th minute, Iheanacho made it 3-1 just before halftime.

In the 77th minute, Iheanacho was substituted by former England international Jamie Vardy as the home team won 4-1.

The victory propelled Leicester City to 13th position with 24 points from 22 games.
