Former Chelsea defender Emmanuel Petit says France legend Zinedine Zidane xan not coach the Blues for a particular season.

The 50-year old has been regularly linked with Chelsea bench since the departure of Thomas Tuchel.

However, Blues new owner Todd Boehly chose Graham Potter who ended his contract at Brighton to start a bigger journey at Stamford Bridge.

So far, the Blues have been struggling despite a staggering winter transfer window as they only scored 4 goals this year and a win in their last 11 games.

Many fans are now asking for the club officials to sack Potter and hire a new coach.

Among names who can replace him, Zinedine Zidane who won the UEFA Champions League three times with Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018.

However, his ex-France teammate believed he can’t handle the job due to language barrier.

“Zinedine doesn’t speak English so he’s not the proper choice for Chelsea, with all due respect to my former teammate”, Petit told Boyle Sports.
