After a humbling setback at home to Guinea Bissau on Matchday 3 of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the Super Eagles bounced back to defeat the same opponent 1-0 away.

The Djurtus of Guinea Bissau achieved one of the continent’s most unexpected results when they defeated Nigeria, the three-time African champions, 0-1 at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
