Former Arsenal and Man City striker Emmanuel Adebayor provided Gunners boss Mikel Arteta with some advices ahead of their clash against Pep Guardiola’s men tonight.
The former Togolese international played for both sides during his Premier League career.
From 2006 to 2009, Adebayor wore Arsenal shirt and scored 62 goals and provided 19 assists for them in 142 appearances.

He joined Manchester City in 2009 having 19 goals and 6 assists in 45 games with the Gunners.
The first picture which comes to mind when recalling his time with the Cityzens is that goal celebration in front of Arsenal fans in 2010.
But Adebayor has all this behind hil and now is urging Arteta to stick with his back four against Manchester City tonight.
“Even if the entire defense was disappointing against Southampton on Friday, I would leave it at this back four. For six weeks and the injury to William Saliba, Arteta has been playing in this basic formation and allowing the automatisms to take hold. Maybe the Gunners had their heads in the Etihad, though that’s in no way an excuse”, he told Wettbasis.
