Nigeria Federation Cup: Plateau United Knocks Enyimba Out In Round 32

After losing to Plateau United on penalties in round 32 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Wednesday, Enyimba was eliminated from the Federation Cup.

After regulation time ended 2-2, Plateau won the penalty shootout 3-2.

This time, a team from a lesser tier sent Akwa United packing as they lost to EFCC FC in a penalty shootout as well.

After the first 90 minutes concluded in a tie score, the game was decided on the spot before EFCC went on to win 9-8.

The top team in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Bendel Insurance, defeated Ahudiya 1-0 to go to the next round of the Federation Cup.

Ikorodu City FC was defeated by Kwara United 3-1, Essien Ayi by Heartland FC 2-1, and Cynosure FC by Lobi Stars 2-1.

Nigeria will compete in the 2024 CAF Confederations Cup as the tournament winner.
