The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the competition’s draw location for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON 2023 with one Matchday remaining in the qualification round.

Only 14 of the 24 possible spots have been taken, since several teams are still competing for a place in the event.

Earlier in the week, Veron Omba Mosengo, the secretary general of the football association, traveled to Ivory Coast to meet with the Local Organising Committee (LOC).

The event, which is scheduled for October 12th, will be held at Parc Des Expositions in Abidjan, according to a Friday announcement from the football governing body.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are one of the 14 teams that have already secured a spot in the competition.
