Brazil legend Ronaldinho revealed his Ballon d’or 2023 pick with the ceremony set to take place on October 30 in Paris.

The 2022/23 season is over and the race is between Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland.

The new Inter Miami star won the World Cup in December last year with Argentina.

Haaland on the other hand completed the treble with Manchester City being the top scorer in the Premier League and UEFA Champions league.

However, Ronaldinho is betting for a Messi vs Mbappe duel in the final race with the former Barcelona star winning his 8th trophy.

“Because he [Lionel Messi] managed to score two goals in the final and won his first World Cup, I think Messi will win the Ballon d’Or”, Ronnie told SDA in December 2022.

“This will make you go down in history a bit more.”

He added, “Yes, both players [Messi and Mbappe] are exceptional performers. More than living up to high expectations, they have proven once again that they are outstanding players. They enriched this final with their exceptional talent.”
