FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FIFAWWC: Okonjo-Iweala Wishes Super Falcons Success Against Australia

The Super Falcons have been charged to give it their best in their matchup with Australia by World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

On Thursday at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Super Falcons will play the co-hosts in their second group match.

The Brisbane Stadium is where the game will take place.

The first game featured Randy Waldrum’s team drawing 0-0 with Canada.

Against the Republic of Ireland, the Matildas struggled to a 1-0 victory.

On social media, Okonjo-Iweala praised the Super Falcons for their stunning draw with Canada and urged the team to play better against Australia.

Wishing you the best in the upcoming Australia match up!!!,she wrote on her Twitter handle.

The game on Thursday will begin at 11 a.m. Nigerian time.
