FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FIFAWWC: We Will Fight For the Maximum Points- Rasheedat Declares

Rasheedat Ajibade, a forward for the Super Falcons, said the team is focused on getting the needed points in its remaining matches at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.

At the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Friday, the Super Falcons managed to hold the Canucks of Canada to a 0-0 tie.

At Brisbane Stadium on Thursday of the next week, the Super Falcons will play against Australia.

Four days later, they play Republic of Ireland at the same location in their last group match.

To urge her teammates to concentrate on the next matches, Ajibade posted a message on Twitter.

“Well done by the team to earn a point in the tough match against Canada yesterday.

“We remain focused on the matches ahead and will fighting for maximum points in the subsequent matches,”she wrote on her Twitter handle.

Due to his suspension, Ajibade missed the match against Canada.

It is anticipated that the Atletico Madrid player will play again against Australia.

After one game, the Super Falcons and Canada are tied for second place in Group B with one point each.

Australia has three points from one game and currently leads the group.
