French forward Anthony Modeste has trained for the first time with his Al Ahly teammates on Tuesday morning after completing his move to the Cairo-based outfit the day before.

Modeste, 35 joined the Eagles on a free transfer after his contract ran out with Borussia Dortmund in July.

The former BVB forward signed a one-year deal with Al Ahly with an additional year in option.

After undergoing all the process, Anthony Modeste joined Ahly’s training ground as they prepare for CAF Super Cup final against Algeria’s USM Alger on Friday.

Modeste was warmly welcomed by his new teammates and the club’s staff and is expected to be part of Friday’s matchday squad.
