PSG right-back Achra Hakimi named his favourite for Ballon d’or 2023 as he snubbed former teammate Lionel Messi who left the club at the end of last season.
The 24-year old scored a somptuous goal against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night in his side’s 2-0 win at the Parc des Princes.
His teammate and friend Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring from the penalty spot bringing his goal tally this season to 8 only after 6 games.

Speaking after PSG’s winning start to the Champions league, Hakimi said the Frenchman deserves to win the Ballon d’or this year.
“Compared to what he did this last year, for me, he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or”, he told beIN Sports.
“He’s a great player and I hope he can win it this year.”
As a reminder, France Football will hold Ballon d’or 2023 ceremony on October 30 in Paris, France.
