Manchester United legend Paul Scholes named three players who are to blame after Red Devils chaotic 2-3 defeat at Old Trafford against Galatasaray on Wednesday night in UEFA Champions league.

Manchester United struggles are far from ending as they lost a second consecutive game after the 0-1 against Crystal Palace in the Premier League over the week-end.

The 2-3 home loss to Turkish side Galatasaray is a sign that the slump at Man United is not ending this quick.

The club’s former midfielder Paul Scholes was furiuous after the game and said Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Andre Onana were not at the required level against Galatasaray.

“United really had to win this, your first home Champions League game. This is a terrible result,” Scholes said on TNT Sports.

“[Sofyan] Amrabat, look he’s not a left-back but he gets done for the goal. It was so wide open.

“I’m not sure where [Raphael] Varane is going. [Victor] Lindelof is lost in the middle of the pitch. So soft and weak. They were so open in that central defensive area, they gave chances away.

“We all know what the goalkeeper did. It’s just not good enough,”
