Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen ended the 2023 Ballon d’Or as the highest ranked African footballer.
Osimhen finished 10th in the vote that was released by the organizers of the award.
The Napoli forward last season helped hos club to win the Scudetto after 33 years and also finished as the top scorer breaking George Weah record in most goal scored by African player in the Serie A.

Osimhen also finished as the top scorer during the 2023 Africa Cu of Nations qualifier with them goals.
Morocco goalkeeper, Yassine Bouno finished 13th position.
Meanwhile, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah finished 11th in the list.
