Nigeria Super Falcons has won the team of the year for women category at the 2023 CAF Awards held in Morocco on Monday.

The Super Falcons who are nine-time Africa Champions beat Morocco the be named the team of the year.

Nigeria reached the quarter final of the 2023 FIFA World Cup where they lost to the three Lionesses of England in a penalty shootout.

The Super Falcons has also qualified to the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations to be hosted by Morocco where they will be hoping to lift the title for a record ten times after they finished fourth in the last edition.
