Orlando Pirates attacker Thembinkosi Lorch returns ahead of their upcoming clash with Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership.

Lorch was suspended by Pirates after he was found guilty of a GBV offence as he assaulted his ex-girlfriend last month. Pirates announced that Lorch was sidelined from the first team until December 12 and he is expected to be key for coach Jose Riveiro’s side.

The Buccaneers are on the road to face Arrows at Mpumalanga Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the league – Lorch might be given a chance. A statement on the club’s official website stated: “Lorch appeared before a Disciplinary Committee where he had to recommit to The Pledge.

Furthermore, Lorch has expressed his steadfast dedication to personal growth and is fully cognizant of the repercussions should he falter. Thembinkosi Lorch has completed his suspension and is now eligible to rejoin club activities, effective today.
