Alhassan Yusuf will miss the Super Eagles’ match against Cote d’Ivoire owing to an injury, according to head coach Jose Peseiro.
After Super Eagles and Equatorial Guinea drew 1-1 on Sunday, Yusuf suffered a thigh injury.
On minute 68, midfielder Joe Aribo of Southampton took the place of the Royal Antwerp player.

“Yusuf is out of the game against against Cote d’Ivoire.
“We hope he will be able to play the next game against Guinea-Bissau,” Peseiro told a press conference on Wednesday.
“The good thing is that it is not a serious injury.
“He did the test yesterday and it was not something serious.”
Aribo or Kelechi Iheanacho are predicted to start in place of the 23-year-old.
