After Mohamed Salah’s injury exit this Thursday evening against Ghana at CAN 2023, Egypt’s head coach gave a first verdict at a press conference.

Rui Vitoria was inevitably questioned about the injury contracted by Mo Salah against the Black Stars of Ghana (2-2).

“I don’t know the nature of Salah’s injury at the moment,” said the Egyptian coach to start.

“I think it’s not serious, but I’m waiting to have results to know if he will be fit for the next match. I was satisfied with the reaction of the players who came back twice,” the Portuguese coach added.
