Manchester United defeated Luton Town 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday thanks to an early double from Rasmus Hojlund, which also moved them closer to the top four.

After just 37 seconds, Danish attacker Hojlund took advantage of a defensive blunder to give United the lead. Seven minutes later, he doubled the lead to put his team ahead.

Sixth position Ross Barkley of Luton headed against the crossbar in stoppage time, and United wasted a number of excellent chances in the second half.

With their fourth straight league victory, United now sits five points behind fourth-place Aston Villa with 44 points from 25 games.
