Nigerian Players abroad Porto Confirm Zaidu To Undergo Surgery

Zaidu Sanusi, a defender for FC Porto and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, will likely be out for a considerable amount of time due to a prolonged anterior cruciate ligament injury.

He was put into action against Estralla Da Amadora following his representation of Nigeria at the just concluded African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

After suffering the injury in the 37th minute, Zaidu was substituted out.

The Nigerian international is scheduled to have surgery in the coming days, according to an update from Portugal.
