Stanley Nwabali was awarded the title Ugo Egbema, “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom,” by His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom, for his outstanding performance at the 2023 AFCON.

Nzeobi Evaristus Amuda, who also serves as the chairman of the Onelga Council of Chiefs, stated that Nwabali’s title was given in recognition of the honour the Goalkeeper has brought to Egbema Kingdom and ONELGA after his performance for the Super Eagles

During the Super Eagles’ Tuesday presidential reception at the State House in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu also presented Nwabali with the National Award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in recognition of his valour.
