Thomas Partey is gradually returning to service. After a period of absence due to injury, the Ghana international finally reunited with his Arsenal teammates as he trained with them on Tuesday.
This February 20, 2024, Thomas Partey took part in training with his teammates, as Arsenal prepare to face FC Porto on Wednesday February 21 in the UEFA Champions League. Images published by the club on Tuesday show the player in full training. It is very likely that he will return to the pitch after a few more sessions.
Gunners coach Mikel Arteta reassured a few days ago that the midfielder’s injury was not serious and that his recovery was rapid despite his relapse at the end of January 2024.
A long absence
Thomas Partey had been sidelined since November 2023 due to injury.
This unavailability deprived him of participation in the African Cup of Nations with the Black Stars of Ghana in Ivory Coast. His return therefore marks a glimmer of hope for Arsenal and their supporters, who are impatiently waiting to see him on the pitch again.
