Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference that Arsenal are the best team in the Premier League at the moment before facing them on Tuesday at the Emirates.

The Londoners are hosting Bayern Munich for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final double head being unbeaten at home.

Speaking ahead of the game, Tuchel chose Bayern Munich lost both of their last two games said the Gunners are the very best team in England.

“Arsenal are currently the best team in the Premier League, all statistics prove that,” Tuchel said.

“They’re in fantastic form. They define themselves as a team. They’re also the best side in Europe from set pieces.

“We’re a little behind. They’re playing at a consistently high level for the second year in a row and they play with a lot of energy. There’s been a culture change under Arteta.”
