FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP Arsenal Misses Out Of 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Arsenal hope of playing in the maiden edition of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup next year has will not come to fruition following their exit from the UEFA Champions League.

The Gunners exited the tournament on a 3-2 aggregate after Joshua Kimmich goal sent Bayern Munich to the semi final.

With the result, Chelsea will now join Manchester City to represent teams from the Premier League.

FIFA also confirmed that RedBull Salzburg will now take Arsenal’s place for the 2025 FIFA World Cup as the club completed the 12 clubs from UEFA.

Arsenal played a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates Stadium but failed to score at the Allianz Arena.

The club who are also in the race for the Premier League title last week saw it dented after they loss 2-0 to Aston Villa at home.
