UEFA Champions League UCL : Real Madrid knock out Man City on penalties to date Bayern in semi-final

Man City vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid are again Champions League semi-finalists following their 4-3 win on penalties (4-4 on aggregate) against Manchester City on Tuesday night to seal their ticket for the next round of the competition.

The Los Blancos never won at the Etihad Stadium and nearly did it on open play tonight with that Rodrigo quick goal inside 12 minutes of play.

The Cityzens strived to comeback but finally find the way through Kevin De Bruyne who brought both sides level in the 76th minute.

None of the two teams scored until the end of extra-time with the game being decided on penalties.

Real Madrid won it by 4-3 with Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovaci missing their shoots for City and Luka Modric for Real Madrid.

The Laliga side will take on Bayern Munich in semi-finals as the Bundesliga outfit put an end to Arsenal Champions League journey in the other quarter-final by winning 1-0 after the 2-2 at the Emirates during the first-half.
