CAF Champions League Pitso Mosimane Names 25-Man Squad For Al Ahly To Face Mamelodi Sundowns

Al Ahly will take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals this Saturday. And coach Pitso Mosimane has announced the squad he will lead to face his former side. The game will Kick off at 19:00 GMT.

Mosimane’s squad is pretty strong with only two key players missing through injuries. The two players are left-back Ali Maloul and central midfielder Mohamed Mahmoud whose absence will no doubt be regarded as a huge loss.

Notheless, Mosimane knows what he’s up against. And it is for this reason he’s called up to 25 players, including three goalkeepers to do battle against Sundowns.

This is certainly a statement of intent by Mosimane despite Al Ahly’s good home record against Sundowns.
