Nigeria Osimhen Impresses In Napoli Away Win Against Fiorentina

Victor Osimhen was in action for Napoli who took another huge step towards qualifying for  Champions League with a 2-0 win away at Fiorentina.

 
Osimhen was involved in Napoli second goal as h combined with Lorenzo Insigne that led to a shot from Zielinski that was deflected off of Lorenzo Venuti into the bottom corner. 
 
But the goal was later credited as an own goal for Venuti.
 
The Super Eagles striker who has been in excellent form with Napoli however was substituted out on the 84th minute.

A pulsating and intriguing game saw both side ended the first half without finding the net.
 
In the second half, a very lengthy VAR review for a Nikola Milenkovic pull on Amir Rrahmani led to a penalty as Fiorentina were reduced to ten men.
 
Lorenzo Insigne who was voted man of the match stepped forward and scored the opener.

With the win, Napoli moved up to third place, one point ahead of Milan and Juventus as the battle for Champions League ticket will go down to the last league game.
