Africa We gave the Hearts too much respect and that led to our defeat, Inter Allies coach Kenneth Koomson

koCoach of Inter Allies  Kenneth Koomsom has admitted that they lost to Hearts of Oak because his players gave the Hearts of Oak players too much respect . Inter Allies lost 3-2 to Hearts but coach Kenneth believe he had the men to match up the phobians adding that they lost because his players gave Hearts too much respect
Inter Allies were 3-1 at halftime – with many believing Hearts were on their way to wrapping up a comfortable win at the Tema Park. But Koomson’s men got themselves back into the game to set up a nervy finish for their visitors. It was however two little too late as the experienced Hearts side held on for the vital win following last week’s disappointing defeat in the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.
Coach Koomson however believes his young team’s undoing was giving way too much respect to their opposition. “Believe me, if we had taken our chances in the first half, it would have been a different story,” he saidafter the game. That [giving Hearts too much respect] is what my boys did and it cost us in the end.”

Allies next travel to face struggling New Edubiase as they go in search of their first Premier League point
