Africa Ghana League is too raw – Alhaji Grunsah

GrAlhaji Karim Grunsah, the bank roller for Kumasi based-club King Faisal Babes has described the ongoing Ghana Premier League as “Sakora”, a local parlance which means zilch. He said his description is due to the lack of sponsorship for the sixteen clubs.
Alhaji’s said this after his team’s 1-3 defeat to Amidaus Professionals at Tema at the weekend. “We are playing a ‘sakora’ league,” Alhaji stated. The outspoken chief executive officer stormed the dug-out on Sunday, when he also threatened to deal with referee Prince Amoah.
Grunsah, who was furious with some of the decision by referee Amoah during the match, alleged the referee personally called him to demand money to assist King Faisal win.
He said his refusal to comply might have led to the strange and bias officiating, Alhaji Grunsah said, against his King Faisal.  “I will deal with you after the game, I have seen you and I have your number on my phone,” Grunsah is said to have told the referee during the first half break.
