French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais have reportedly turned down a €17 million offer from Aston for their Burkina striker Bertrand Traore.

Bertrand Traore is expected to leave Lyon in the coming weeks as Rudi Gracia does not intend to incorporate him this season in his team this season.

However, Lyon’s officials does not want to sell off the Burkinabé winger in exchange of a skinny offer. While they are waiting between 20 and 25 million euros to let him move, Aston Villa has made a €17m offer refused by Lyon according to L’Equipe.

Bertrand Traore, was recruited for 10 million euros in 2017. He is also in the sights of Fulham.
