Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed Esterline Goncalves Genero as the match official for 2020 CAF Confederation’s Cup game between Futuro Kings FC of Equatorial Guinea and Rivers United FC of Nigeria.
He will be assisted by compatriots Abeimiro Dos Reis Monte Negro (Assistant Referee 1) and Gabonise Marlaisee Ditsoga Boris (Assistant Referee 2), while Auladyo Dos Santos Pariz will serve as the fourth official.
Also, CAF named Juan-Didier Masamba Malumga as match commissioner.
Rivers United arrived Equatorial Guinea on Friday ahead of the game scheduled for 4pm Nigeria time at the Mongomo Stadium.
The team reached Malabp capital of Equatorial Guinea via a chartered flight before connecting Mongomo.
This will be the first ever match between both teams in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United will host Futuro Kings in the reverse fixtures next week in Port Harcourt.
Winner of the two legs will proceed to the next round of this season CAF Confederation Cup.
