Africa Soccer Tonic Chabalala Hails Orlando Pirates Coach For His Achievements

Josef Zinnbauer helped Pirates end a six-year trophy drought when he led the club to MTN8 victory earlier this month. And former Orlando Pirates defender Tonic Chabalala has heaped praise on Zinnbauer for his progress as coach.

The German mentor also led the Buccaneers into the December break as one of the four unbeaten teams in the DStv Premiership. Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, second-placed Swallows and Golden Arrows are also undefeated.

I would like to applaud the coach for what he has brought to the team. Since his arrival the mood in the team changed. And you could see from day one that the players wanted to play for him. The guys want to play for the team and want to fight for positions.” Said Chabalala.
