Guinea finished the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2020) at the third position thanks to their 2-0 win over Cameroon on Saturday night.
Lapé Bangoura’s men started the game with a great intensity which on-fire Horoya AC midfielder Morlaye Sylla confirmed by giving the lead to his side at the ninth minute.
The Intermediate Lions tried to catch their opponent up but they not only failed to do so, but also exposed their defence as they conceded a second in the additional time of the first half.

The game ended on a 2-0 victory for Guinea as things remained unchanged in the second half.
Cameroon who were among title contenders finally go home without a single trophy.
Morocco and Mali will battle in the final for the title on Sunday, February 7 at 7pm.
