Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has said he feels honoured to receive the IFFHS award for Best Club Coach for Africa in the men’s football category.
IFFHS released the list of the winners this week following voting by selected sports journalists from across the world.
The South African got the award following his exploits with Al Ahly after steering them to CAF Super Cup and CAF Champions League.
In reaction, Mosimane tweeted: “I am so honoured to have received this award and ranking. Thank you to @Ranking IFFHS for the award. I’d like to thank my technical team @AlAhly, the players, the Board, President El Khatib and all my supporters in Africa for always supporting me. Alhamdulillah.”
