Nigeria FIFA Appoints Oliseh As Technical Expert for the Qatar 2022 World Cup

Sunday Oliseh, a former head coach of the Super Eagles, has been selected by FIFA to serve as a Technical Expert for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Oliseh who recently quit his job as manager of German lower league side SV 19 Straelen through social media, Oliseh reaffirmed the information.

“Extremely honoured to have been appointed by FIFA as a Technical Expert for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

“In privileged company of “Sir” Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman and 3 others. Work started last night .

Qatar 2022 is looking great and ready,” the former midfielder wrote on his Twitter handle.

The 48-year-old most recently served as manager of SV 19 Straelen of the German lower tier.

Additionally, he has overseen clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Throughout his playing career, Oliseh represented Nigeria in 54 matches.
