In the U-17 women’s World Cup quarterfinal match in India, Nigeria’s Flamingos will play against the Americans.
After the USA defeated Morocco 4-0 in their final Group A match on Monday to take first place, the pairing was decided.
After winning one and drawing the other of their first two group games, the Americans now have two victories in the World Cup.

After a spirited 2-1 victory over Chile in their final Group B match earlier on Monday, the Flamingos secured their spot in the round of eight.
Bisola Mosaku and captain Blessing Emmanuel scored goals to give the Flamingos their second victory of the competition.
Germany will face Group A’s runner-up Brazil in the knockout round after finishing ahead of the Flamingos in Group B.
