Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar is still training alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr despite the reports claiming days ago he was released by the club.
What is going on with Aboubakar in Saudi Arabia? Since Cristiano Ronaldo signing by Al-Nassr in December, the 30-year old has been linked with a move out of the Riyadh-based side.
More than a week ago, it was reported that the AFCON 2021 top scorer parted ways with Al-Nassr as the club terminates his contract to make a place for Ronaldo according to Saudi FA rules which limit the number of foreign players in every team at 8.

Since then, Vincent Aboubakar has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.
However, he was not Erik ten Hag’s first choice who finally brought in Wout Weghorst.
Aboubakar was also linked with a return to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, but the Cameroonian never left Al-Nassr.
Vincent Aboubakar trained again on Sunday with his teammates including Cristiano Ronaldo making fans confused about his situation after watching full 90 minutes during the goalless draw against Al-Shabab from the bench on Saturday.
As a reminder, his contract with Al-Nassr runs until June 2024 and the club is yet to announce his departure.
